Erosion and sediment control and stormwater management are critical parts of almost every project. Federal and state agencies are increasing regulation and enforcement each year. The environmental impact of poor erosion and sediment control and stormwater management is significant and proven.
Obtaining this certificate will distinguish you from your peers and demonstrates to the public at-large that you have demonstrated a certain level of expertise in the stormwater and environmental industry.
This is an entry-level Certificate of Training that will assist individuals who are new or have limited experience in the field of erosion and sediment control, and related fields. This will include, but is not limited to, construction personnel in all fields; contractors; persons associated with land development; all levels of governmental staff who manage or participate in stormwater programs; and, entry-level professions.
The QSM Certificate of Training will provide a broad national overview of the fundamentals of soil, topography, climate, geomorphology, erosion and sediment control, drainage, as well as an overview of various construction stormwater control measures and components and implementation of a SWPPP.
