This instructor certification is designed to teach instructors about the essential components of yoga, including the background, history, importance, transitions and poses. Instructors will become knowledgeable in class design, basic yoga poses and their modifications for special populations. You will learn the functionality and purpose of each pose as it relates to mind and body, and understand their importance in balancing the body. The training includes hands-on practical sessions and requires passing a written exam to receive ISCA Yoga Instructor Certification.
