The purpose for the Level I Laboratory Lubricant Analyst (LLA) certification is to verify that laboratory personnel from both commercial oil analysis labs and private in-house labs practicing in the field of lube oil analysis as it is applied to machinery condition monitoring and maintenance, are qualified.

Online Exam; Third Party Exam Center
ICML offers online and paper exams. Both exams are closed-book format. The LLA I has 70 multiple choice questions and you have two hours to complete the exam. The LLA II, MLTs and MLAs have 100 multiple choice questions and you have three hours to complete the exam.
