The Qualified Elevator Inspector Training Fund (QEITF), Certified Elevator Inspection Supervisor (CEIS) certification is an advanced-level credential for professionals who supervise the examination of elevators and related machinery for safety and adherence to standards. Candidates for the CEIS must hold the Certified Elevator Inspector (CEI) and have five years of experience working as a CEI. Candidates must demonstrate an aptitude for leadership, administration, and management that is verified by a supervisor, employer or former employer.
